I love this argument by the Australian minister of Defense "We as a medium size country count on the international order based system for our security and prosperity and that's why this war matters to us".. Brilliant. Australians may seem uninterested for the war in Ukraine given that its happening 6000 miles away, but they should be worried and concerned for Ukraine's future, cause this is the blueprint for another dictatorship with apetite for changing borders. Of course I'm talking about China. And if Russia suceedes in this territorial grab than China will go through with their agenda to invade and annex Taiwan. And this would happen a lot closer to Australian borders with much more immediate consequences for their security.. So support for Ukraine today is the support for your freedom and peace tomorrow. If NATO enters the war in Ukraine or USA and Japan get involved on Taiwan's side if China invades, Australian boys will die on the front. I guarantee you that much.

International rules need to be followed as well by the U.S
Australia is entering in unequal partnerships.
The U.S circumvents human rights commitments and international treaties and no mainstream media takes it up for broader debate

so much support for Ukraine, but no much vaunted compassionate visa for my now wife. WE applied with an agent and it ticked all the boxes and I offered 100% sponsorship and guaranteed her support. We had been in an online relationship for around 5 years, well documented and she ticked all the boxes. I could not meet her as I had a farm and a mother with dementia I was nursing. I gave up the farm and all my belongings and at 70 I have had to move to Ukraine and a war to marry her. We are both utterly upstanding citizens. People with zero funds to even get to Australia got visas and our perfect application was refused without even a single enquiry.

There is no such thing as international law. Only law in your owned jurisdiction. Illegal war is a jurisdiction claim. Why are we in a war in Ukraine? Why would we be in a war in Taiwan? What are the Australian interest?

Did Russia's Ambassador get an invite to this discussion? This is incredibly important, to be and be seen to be balanced and expose all points of view. Show the strength of our democracy.

Maybe you should think about how many people you have living in a certain place and how much food that you make before you start like re-procreating as if your life is always going to be the same always Like to be in power you need to think of a way ahead, you know… Like the 48 laws of power states

Yeah, Ukraine is winning on twitter.... . Real life is a completely different matter. Ukraine already lost most trained and motivated soldiers along with almost all hardware it had before the war plus hundreds of tanks and IFVs it got from Eastern Europe (to understand the scale of losses it had 1 990 tanks, 1 212 IFVs, 1 112 heavy artillery systems, 354 multiple rocket launchers). Its army is a shadow of its former self at the beginning of the war. Zelenskyy is catching and forced conscripting often at gunpoint mostly people with zero motivation to die for him, who never served in the army, often disabled. When such people are in the trenches, it means that the front can collapse at any moment. According to WaPo of all places Russians have 1:6 advantage in artillery (you can imagine their real advantage). 85% of Ukrainian soldiers are killed even without seeing an enemy . Biden administration is getting quite desperate. The only option left for Biden administration is to throw Polish army into a meat grinder. I just hope that Polish government isn't that crazy.

Wtf has the trans issue got to do with the war. I am supporter but it annoys me seeing that shit bought up in completely irrelevant situations.
