Here is a fast and easy block you can make from your scraps. Perfect for those who want something that looks good and can be made easily, they come together quickly. They can also be the building blocks of other larger blocks by combining several of these together.

You’ve got my brain thinking “what if…”! I’ve got many scraps, and I’m thinking the color combinations are virtually endless! Both for the little corners AND the background squares. Thank you for another great tutorial. 👍🏻💖👵🏻

Absolutely adorable! I see many possibilities even outside of using scraps. Thinking it would be grand in red, white, and blue. Love it 🧵✂️

You made a beautiful quilt and explained everything well! I was looking for a quilt pattern to make for a baby gift. I like that this pattern uses up scraps. I have everything I would need! I recall seeing a version of this pattern about 30 years ago - it was featured in a beginner quilt making class for teens. It was known by the name "Stretched Stars" Thank you for sharing and inspiring me to make this quilt!

Such a charming project. As part of my "get more for less" fabric purchases, I keep an eye out on closeout neutrals. Hancock's of Paducah frequently has "buy more in save" on top of great sales. I frequently look for tone on tone prints (though sometimes it is too easy to get them reversed between right and wrong sides. I get Kona Snow and Silver off the bolt as well. I try to keep my my yardage price for premium fabric to 4-5 dollars per yard. Having beautiful neutrals that can be used in many settings helps make the most of materials. This is a perfect use of scraps.

Your frequent use of flanging (fillets) in unexpected spaces (e.g. intra border fillers) is wonderful, and I've not seen it demonstrated anywhere. And of course, inter border fillets/flanging always add visual interest just as they do in home decor.
