I would by a 3D printer just to print lens caps lol.

At work, one of our VFX people designed a clip-on holder for our camera tripods, and I am eternally grateful for those. They are somewhat similar to the Zoom H4n holder.
This holder/container is where all the nick-nacks go that are directly associated with *that* camera and that otherwise just disappear, like port covers, chargers and the like. It also has hooks for audio / video cables and a holder for an external SSD the camera record on. The most important thing by a mile, though: a place to put lens covers & body caps. I've lost count how many times before people went in "Oh, I just need the lens from that camera real quick" - and they just pull it off the camera, not bothering to put on the body cap or any covers on the lens - even though those live in the same bag as the rest of the lenses or on the desk right next to the camera. I admit, this is a first world problem. But it is also my "favourite" pet peeve.
Result:
The next time you come in, you're greeted by a shiny and by now probably somewhat dusty camera sensor (because no body cap) plus smudged fingerprints on the lenses that have just been plonked on the desk or tossed into the camera bag. Which turned me into (a slightly mellow version) of Hulk in about minus two seconds and had me chasing down whoever last used the stuff and gently and mostly politely "reading them the riot act". Now there's no more excuse like "Oh, I couldn't find the caps" or "I just need it for 5 minutes" (and then, through no fault of their own, it takes all afternoon). But if you really want to get stuff done quickly, you just don't want to have to break out the rocket blower, cleaner & MF rag and spend 5 minutes cleaning all the crap off the equipment which is only there in the first place because someone was lazy and couldn't be bothered to spend those extra 5 seconds to cap all the stuff. Was I being obnoxious and annoying about this? At times, maybe yes. I am aware of it and I'm sorry. But - come on, guys - really now.
What I never understood: the other guys and gals are really excellent photographers themselves, and I am 100% sure they wouldn't dream of treating their own equipment like this.

These things are great! Have you 3D printed any other useful items since the filming of this video?
