Gaismagorm may not have been the hardest final boss in the MH series, but it sure as hell was the most terrifying.

What I wouldn't give to experience Gais crawling out of the pit for the first time again. Because that was amazing. I was like "Here we go, final boss, final boss- JESUS CHRIST WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT"
Gaismagorm is incredible from the sheer spectacle alone. Those huge hulking wingarms, those slender and creepy forearms, and those vestigial sea-turtle looking hind limbs. That head like a crocodile's, and a mouth that unhinges and opens into a pentagram shape. And covered in what is essentially crystalized blood.

Gaismagorm, in both its theme, title, and design (to a degree), literally feels like something out of the Soulsborne franchise. And it's fucking AWESOME.

The first reaction fighting this demonic entity was the best out of the final bosses I faced so far in monster hunter, one that I wish I could get a mindwipe to experience it again and again. His theme is quite spectacular

Interesting how proof of a hero here actually as heroic as it is normally. It’s actually sounds like even with all our courage, we are still overcome with fear and a overwhelming sense of uncertainty. We get into that “WE CAN DO IT!!” But then we get a snap of reality and are reminded that this is not any other monster, it’s the arch demon of the abyss.
