Release : The Squeeeze
Date : June 24
Label : Pineapple records
📀 The Squeeeze
Pineapples Booty Bass Queen Amy Kisnorbo is back, and alongside a fresh new face to the label, man like Ron Mercy, straight outta Florida! This transatlantic link-up has resulted in a storming EP mixing elements of Miami Bass, Juke, Electro and Chicago House into a collection of dance floor-destroying Summertime slammers. Ya Bwoi Yung Bingles provides a more heads down, pounding remix, but everything is in that exciting tempo range of 145 - 155bpm, perfect for the adventurous DJs and discerning ravers out there.
🎧 Amy Kisnorbo
Bristol, UK. Amy is the big triple threat; producer, vocalist and DJ. She smashes just about everything she’s involved in and we’re honoured to have her join the series.
A deep creative mind that puts a lot of love into all her crafts, Amy spent 5 years in Australia under the moniker Alchemist. She was a mainstay of the warehouse and boutique festival scenes and has supported local and international talent across multiple genres such as J:Kenzo, Amit Sounds, Djinn, Fixate, Headland, ShadesOfRhythm and V.I.V.E.K.
Now back in the U.K., Amy resides in Bristol and since returning has been ON NON-STOP SMOKE. She’s done Rinse shows for J:Kenzo, a debut set at Rupture, the Keep Hush Turbo Tour, a set for the Pineapple Records No One Bristo show. Some of the SOLITUDE gang will be there too so come say hello if ya see the big purple cassette merch.
The above achievements are recent as well… Amy has had constant success, with debut track EP “Volition” getting support on BBC 6, Rinsestagram, SWU. If you do anything today it should be digging through Amy’s work as it’s all absolutely killer.
🎧 Ron Mercy
Young DJ and Producer hailing from Tampa, Florida. Renowned for crafting electrifying tracks deeply rooted in the Miami Bass tradition, his contemporary approach to the genre sets the dancefloor ablaze.
📡 Pineapple Records
Bristol based record label run by Sam Binga. Fresh, weird & strictly fire on the dance floor / socially distanced listening space.
