The reason it seems there is so much evil in the world being allowed by God, is because humans project the evil onto reality.

My survival has nothing to do with my concept of evil. Things that help my survival, such as the suffering of animals in slaughterhouses, are still evil. I still weep and cry for these poor animals.

I agree with this.. I think people don’t want to accept it because of fear. Fear runs peoples lives more than they care to admit. To a mind that’s free of fear, evil is just an experience because in the end everything dies anyway, it’s our human attachment to ideas and things that makes evil matter more than it does in a negative light. If you took away your perception, evil just IS. And that’s why it doesn’t matter… I’ve known at least 30 people in my life including both of my parents who have died normal and horrible deaths from gunshots to diseases to overdoses etc. and I’ve only cried about two times even though these people are close to me and it was because I understood this a long time ago… by that alone a simple understanding of life can change the whole concept from you destroying your life from a loved one’s death to completely almost not caring just by a change in your psychology that you make alone. It’s tough for anyone to admit this but a psychopath just IS. It’s societies labels that make them “evil” when it’s simply a perspective and it’s all perspectives that paint him as evil when his actions just are. Psychopaths just have the balls and the guts to look at it in a different light and that’s why they’re unaffected by “brutality” but then we call that a mental illness. Without the perspective, brutality just IS. People need to get the balls to look at life from this way because it really is the truth.

Light has a shadow. Being afraid of the Devil is like being afraid of your own shadow.

My ego has nothing to do with the fact that evil exists. Whether I have an ego or not, it doesn't change the fact that little kids are getting raped and harvested for their organs every day. Even if I know that will never happen to me or my kids or anyone I know, I'll still grieve for those children. Because it's evil and horrific. And no, you can't compare this to a horror movie, because the actors in the movie are PRETENDING. They don't ACTUALLY get tortured. They don't feel any pain. But the people who suffer in reality are REALLY suffering. So still, God would have to be evil to allow this. It's like a movie director ACTUALLY allowing actors to suffer for the movie. And don't get me started on animal suffering. Watch a slaughterhouse documentary and see if you think evil doesn't exist.

This still doesn't explain why God couldn't create a world without substance where its beings were pure consciousness without physical bodies that can be harmed and need an ego to survive. If God can create anything why, out of all possible ways to exist, did He/It chose a physical reality? Makes no sense.

2:10

_"... and the reason you do that is because you're so goddamn egotistical and selfish ..."_

Yeah.
I'll be short
and very
sophisticated
today.
For all of those
who says that,
I wish endless
pain.
I wish endless
suffering.
And I will
continuously
remind them
while they will
be suffering,
that it's an
illusion, and
it's not bad,
at all.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled is convincing the world he didn't exist.

“Illusion” is relative

what is not relative is shared;
And shared experience is real

You are right! I have a friend teaching me these things and he told me this months back. It is a hard pill to swallow but I get it.

I don’t know man . Sometimes I think it’s me but I’m following my journey. And it’s taking me into spiritual realms that I can’t seem to bring myself back from now. I’m flipping coasting in the galactic waves and I’m moving towards a person and that is where Im heading now. I just need some sleep at this point and I cannot sleep. ❤️

Leo is arguing that if God exists then evil cannot. That is his solution to the question of how a good God can allow evil. I say it is a faulty argument. My solution allows both a God and evil to exist. What the Ego perceives as good or evil is false. The ego cannot perceive the good as it is evil. Perhaps God does not exist in the way that we think it should. Therein lies the problem. If there is a God then it is either powerless to prevent evil or it is so loving that it allows everything to take place, or there is no God. One of these is the more likely explanation. But to say that evil does not exist is to distort language and reality.

I think the argument you propose may hold theoretically, but practically this answer seems like it denies the truly horrible evils of the world.

The holocaust, human trafficking, female mutilation, babies and young children coming into this world suffering in pain because of various diseases. Entire lives throughout history spent in slavery, being obligated to work in inhumane conditions, living in sweat, filth and seeing your loved ones raped and killed because your master wanted to.

I paint the picture, because I think one can make the argument that some evil may be "good" or "entertaining" or makes the journey of life more "dramatic", but why allow such extremes of evil to be? Why couldn't the Creator have allowed some limitations to the extent of evil in the same way one cannot fly because gravity exists? I'm not stating this as an atheistic argument against the existence of God, rather to point out that the question of evil in the world, I believe, is not only complex a subject but very intimately real.

Stating that evil doesnt exist, just isnt coherent with the previous examples I gave. It also can't be compared to a director making actors do or say horrors on film, because everybody is aware that what they are partaking in is a film. If we were to watch a horror film, and after the credits we read a banner that said "for the purposes of realism, we actually had the actors kill eachother", then almost everbody in the movie theater would be horrified.

Sorry, Leo, can't buy into to this view completely. Evil exists and its name is EGO. It is the source of division and conflict. Only the ego suffers and only the ego causes conflict.
