I'm thinking gotta be thankful for Jupiter because without Jupiter, I'm guessing comets and asteroids would be abusing Earth constantly.

Is the title a little click bait-ish considering the video is about how the comet has been pushed out of the Solar System?

Yes we are. We have allways been, and will allways be in danger. We are arguably the rarest anomaly in the universe and the odds for our existance are literally astronomical. The fact that we still exist is just strange, but not as strange and incomprehensible as the fact that we came into existence from the very start.

We were so lucky for so long. It just had to end

I reckon 6, 000 mph seems a bit slow to escape the solar system. Since meteors can hit earth at 40, 000 mph. 😮

Given the right circumstances and it could sling one right in on us, too.

It's unusual to have four gas/ice giants protecting inner planets-could be why life could safely evolve on Earth

6700 miles per hour is very slow for a comet. Rockets can easily double that speed, and I think that's under the solar system's escape velocity. So it won't leave the solar system. Double check the speed

Jupiter n Saturn out there in the solar system like 2 kids in the back of the class just sniping spitballs at random targets, like little Jimmy "Straight A's" ear hole, On just a slightly larger, possibly more devastating scale. Hope we can avoid becoming the next Jimmy "Straight A's"!

Saturn & Jupiter miss more than they catch… sometimes sending them into earth’s path… want to see how many went right over our shoulder: look at and count all the craters on the moon 🌙 😮… and that’s a fraction of what we barely missed…😮

Slingshot effects can also steer celestial bodies our way.
Need keep watching.

Not just into our orbital distance from the Sun, which is dangerous. But also changing the inclination so that it's harder for it to hit the Earth because it spends most of its time in the ascending or descending nodes and hopefully crosses the Ecliptic at some distance other than 1 AU.

As long as they aren't hurdling them towards us.

Yah it could also send more our way, love how the post skipped over that critical fact !!

How far out, will it be back and when
Why we are seeing this and not see Pluto's collision?
like to see more information on it
Very good stuff ✌️😀

Could we not deposit our instruments inside crafts that would attach themselves to these commets and start exploring interstellar space?

As long as it's not coming towards us, I couldn't care less!
