À quelques heures du défilé Balmain Automne-Hiver 2024-2025, Vogue France a retrouvé la championne Serena Williams dans la ferveur de la Fashion Week de Paris. Pour l’athlète la plus titrée de l’Histoire du tennis féminin, le vêtement a toujours été, au-delà d’un moyen d’expression, un vecteur de revendications dans son sport. Légende et favorite des courts centraux, désormais retirée des circuits, la joueuse accepte volontiers de se tenir dans l’ombre des défilés pour soutenir les créateurs. Proche du regretté Virgil Abloh, grande admiratrice et amie d’Olivier Rousteing, Serena Williams souligne l’importance de la diversité et de l’égalité des chances, aussi bien en haut des tableaux qu’à la tête des maisons de couture. Dans une interview ponctuée de quelques mots en français, l’athlète confie son amour pour la France… qui le lui rend bien.

I think she likes her make up this way. Just an observation. Lately a lot of her pictures look just like this look, no matter the make up artist… but I could be wrong 🤷🏾‍♀️

But why cover her in so much highlighter and then the extra dark mascara? I know they just met but couldn't the artist see she was putting on too much. Serenea has amazing features and doesn't need triple heavy makeup.
