Sword Chant Arrangement Guitar Cover | Jack Streat

So I tabbed this out for UG, noticing that there wasn't a reliable one already (surprise surprise), and thought I might as well do a cover of it while I was at it.

If Ensiferum ever played this song live (sadly Jari never played any Iron songs live, which, combined with the wails needed here, is probably the reason they never did), it'd be Markus on lead guitar (mainly bottom) and Jari/Pete on rhythm (mainly top)... I didn't name them here though because I switched them about a little bit after the clean interlude.

Drums were sampled, DSK Virtuoso, and Synth1 were used for the strings and bass, and a couple of amp/cab sims were used on the guitars. The song's in D Standard, so I pitch shifted the Jackson down a tone (it's in E), but the Fender was already in the right tuning. This meant no tone-sucking pitch shifting on the clean guitars, a big plus.

Decided to include some vocals in this one too! Not in the first half though because my mic is terrible and I haven't anything like the range Jari has.

Thanks man. I tried playing this song by ear before i found your cover but I had trouble hearing some parts of the song. Do you use any kind of software that isolate instruments from each other?
