Revit Modeling Exercise 006 - Parametric Pendant Light (Part 2)

Following the last exercise, this tutorial shows you how to add some parametric cables into the lighting fixture family.

Please watch the last episode for the model we start with.

These cables will follow your lightings to match their angles, size and offset.

if I change parameter R, A2, x, y to be type parameter, the formula works. If one of them is instance type or all parameter instance type, the formula doesn’t work. (show alert error” Constraints are not satisfied”) Do you know why?
