This is just so beautiful! I saw an interview with LP where she said whenever she sings this song she thinks of her mother who passed away. It brings tears to my eyes every single time. Love you LP!

I just adore all the elements she put into the song. She sings higher and higher until she floored me with something distinctly operatic (!). after that appearance she completed the act with more whistling. Real honest to God whistling. She seems to use it like an extension of her head voice. I like that! it's so natural and physical. like a breath of fresh air. 👍

the perfect song following this is L.P.'s new single "Lost on You". It's the perfect sequel.
