I already moved out and established my life in a snow fort .
When it melts I just go underground, you can find me in different snow piles around the northern parts of canada.
I supply my food by eating stuff like that chocolate rapper and drink the snow.😁

We did this in a far larger pile on our property lot, made by plow, we worked at it all winter using 2x4s and plywood to shore it up like a mineshaft, we had cords and lights, it was an extensive network of passages and rooms, like a real underground mine.

We had one mishap where a shaft caved in on my mentally disabled cousin, we dug in from the top, he was squished under plywood, had a good pocket of air, was ok, got him back to work

That dangerous one kid in our neighbourhood died cos he was in his snow cave and one of thos snow machine/cars pushed the entrance in and his body was found few months later and because of him everybody thought he had been kidnapped and my mother wouldnt let me out...

Might be an idea to warn kids to be very careful when doing this. Always have one person stay outside, because if it collapses onto the person inside, they are most likely gonna be trapped laying or sitting down and will struggle to free themselves.

If that snow collapsed on you guys with both of you in the fort, i dont think you would stand much of a chance unless someone was around to dig you out. Also, i dont think its a good idea to leave a fort like that unattended in a public space in case some kids stumble upon it and decide to go in, exposing them to collapse or snow ploughs. Stay safe folks.
