Nitecore 21700 Intelligent Battery System (MPB21 Kit): Quick Look

preview_player
Показать описание
Nitecore have a useful little kit here with the 21700 i series battery, this is a custom cell which has both positive and negative connections on both ends. The cell can also be used in "normal" devices such as torches/flashlights.

Using a magnetic connection you can attach items to it. The MPB21 Kit comes with the ML21 Light/lantern which has an output of 80 lumens, and the MPB21 is the power bank module, turning the battery into an ultra compact power bank.

I look at this kit, show you how it works and what I think of it. There are some obvious advantages here (super compact size and you can simply get spare/replacement cells), it's small enough to carry with you anywhere or as an emergency power or light source. There are a few areas where I would make some adjustments, and I discuss this in the video.

I like that you mentioned the short circuit protection, and showed it not sparking and shorting. I was interested in just that :D

Clever product 🙂 I don't like the micro USB port though. It feels too outdated. I would probably buy this, but ONLY if they upgraded to USB-C.

Want to know the temperature when you using it as a light and power bank. Also, it do not have any protect shell does anyone willing to risk if the battery exploding?

I dont buy nitecore products because of they still using micro usb that showes you that they prefer to save 50 cents per unit instead of giving us usb-c

Type A and micro? 😞 That's a deal-breaker for me. Is there a Type C version available?

the thrunite ts2 blows this out the water while being cheaper . go for the olight if anyone is considering this nitecore because of the micro usb, if people stop buying the old micro usb devices eventually companies might get the message, but even the micro usb aside the thrunite is way better than this

The year is 2023, and Nitecore is still using micro-usb instead of usb-c.
The item was on my shopping cart and was totally buying this until i saw the micro-usb nonsense.
i immediately removed from my cart and delete this crap product.

NOT a good value in the US. Thrunite has had a similar option for awhile that was $20- when it came out, and now floats between $25 and 30-,
