I have always enjoyed watching A Different World. It's a timeless series. Just as "Sanford and Son, "Good Times", "Martin", "Living Single", "The Cosby Show" and "What's Happening". Every cast member was funny in their own way. And they ALL played well off of each other. From season 2 through season 6 it was nothing but good writing, quality storylines and great actors and actresses. I'm so glad that Bill Cosby had the foresight to create this show and bring Debbie Allen on board to revitalize it after a stale first season. Ridiculously smart choice.

Some of the funniest episodes of "A Different World" were when Dawaynes mother, played by the legendary Patti LaBelle, and Whitleys mother, played by the legendary late Dianne Carroll, met and argued with each other.

When I saw the reunion I cried. 😢 This show was everything to me growing up. It brought back great childhood memories. I love everyone on the show!

I also want to say Thank you to Dr Bill Cosby, thee amazing and talented Debbie Allen, as well as the phenomenal cast for bringing the world a T.V show that was so well thought out, relatable, inspiring, and entertaining. You enter the homes of millions and brought a standard of television that was needed then...and needed even more now. You made us laugh, cry, fall in love, learn, grow and so much more. Thank you!! Thank you for covering topics such as Domestic violence, Racism, Health epidemics, Political views, Women's Rights, Military duty, and various teenage and family issues just to name a few. "A Different World" was a story of Love, Friendship, Romance, Higher Education, Family, and Growth. I can go on and on about this masterpiece of a show. I am grateful for witnessing this show first hand and I will sing its honor forever ❤️
