What's new at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park

The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is a world-class experience with 1,800 acres of sprawling savannas teeming with wildlife and botanical gardens.

They want to let everyone know about their latest additions to premium experiences.

It's not all about having fun and getting an up close and personal view of rhinos, giraffes, and wildebeest. It's all about working together to promote conservation and make the world a better place for those with two, four, or maybe no feet at all.

I’m done. That’s over the top. That camping tent experience sounds amazing! lol but it assumes I’m not sleeping one second listening to wild animals surround by every known species of insect and laying on anything else beside my bed or recliner. Suffering the drive home aching for a shower and a 4 hour nap and go to bed early the following night. I’m like I can bond with the animals without sleeping with them I’m good for now, but after a go a few times and an animals spirit reaches out to me, I’d consider it. But no I have no interest sacrificing a precious nights sleep needlessly. I’m excited for everything else and I hope to go 12 times this year. Yay, or rather, Roar!

I'm assuming this was filmed on Wed April 24th. That was also Member Appreciation Night from 5pm-8pm after the daily crowd left. I've been going to the Safari Park since roughly 1975 and never seen it as crowded as it was last night. Usually a "Members night" is a few hundred people not a few thousand. We parked at the bottom of the hill, in the dark, and hiked uphill to get into the entrance. What a memory. I'm just grateful it exists and we have this amazing facility, not to mention the repopulation work they do. Always happy to contribute. I miss the monorail though.

Missing animals details. The tiger trail is fun and the views from condors is gorgeous. Also tiger trail now extends to elephants.

Those gorillas look in rough shape. Human like animals like primates should never be displayed for crazy humans pleasure at zoos like that. Ever seen how healthy the gorillas in the wild are ?! So messed up .
