Sonny, I just returned a couple days ago from a 5 month staycation in Bali/Nusa Penida/Lombok. I went the cheap route. $10-15 a night hotel. All were very nice and definitely worth the price. Can't imagine staying in a $100-$1, 000 hotel. You can live like a king in Indonesia with a high budget. I lived off $2-3 meals, which was more than enough. Most of the local restaurants were cheap and delicious. Budget friendly. Fell in love with the country. Beautiful place with such sweet nice people. Can't wait to return:)
