Wall Street suffered a massive blow as $5 trillion was wiped off U.S. markets amid an escalating trade war between the U.S. and China. Major indexes plunged over 5%, with the Nasdaq entering bear market territory. China’s retaliation to Trump’s tariffs heightened fears of a global recession. Economists warn of rising inflation, slowing GDP, and increasing recession risks. Global markets tumbled in response, oil prices dropped, and world leaders are now scrambling to contain the fallout and avoid further economic damage.

Just wait until American consumers see all of the empty shelves, and showrooms when all of the imports stop..
Jaguar UK have already stopped all car exports to the USA; and are searching out new sales markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East...

Real or false, doesn't matter.
Existing situation n happenings r real.
Being moronic, myopic or in denial is not a solution. Hegemony n arrogance does not command respect. Try to coexist if you can't be friends. Otherwise, US would soon be self-destruct.

America should wise up and get the taste for some of it's old time humble apple pie; dump the idea of relying on foreign companies to re-develop it's manufacturing industry, instead focus on how to do it for itself. America should stop being afraid of socialism and be prepared to learn an economic lesson or two from China; lessons about how capitalism can and should be subordinated to meeting the social and cultural needs of the American people.
