Using AI to Create a Kids KDP Coloring Book From Scratch - MidJourney

When it comes to creating and publishing Kids KDP coloring books on Amazon, AI is a game changer. If you’re not an illustrator or graphic designer you can now create amazing looking coloring book covers and interiors and do it incredibly fast. In this video I look at using MidJourney V5 to create the cover and interior images of our book and putting it all together using Canva and then uploading it all to Amazon via the KDP dashboard. What was once a process that could take many hours or days can literally be done in a fraction of the time. I go through creating a MidJourney V5 AI prompt that you can use to create your own covers and interiors in virtually any niche. Coloring books are a great book to publish if you’re aiming to make money online building a self publishing business.

Use it like any other parameter (followed by a space, then value). In your case, yours would read “––no shading”. I literally queued up this video on a Friday evening after work, I was tired but I gave myself 7 days to get a real kids book in my hands. I was familiar and had access to all the tools, 4 hours later at 1:30am my first kids coloring book is in review at KDP, I go to sleep and 6 hours later my book is published on KDP.
