Thank you. Coming from running VirtualBox for years, and was looking to expand my knowledge base. I am a big fan of XCP-NG, and XO. It is a lot more 'user friendly' IMO over another 'famous' virtualization platform. I will be pushing some people to the commercial version and support, here shortly. Please keep up the good work.

They have improved the way to bring in VHD as well, might be worth part of a new video. I have had some issues with disk2vhd migrations though, but have a process in place that works.

I see update is disabled when running the container or building from source normal I read but would it be nice to find a way to use it or to turn off the notification on the menu. Feedback are appreciated I have not attached a node yet just run the orchestra than you

Hi Tom, would be interresting and maybee a good Video > True NAS with 4 or more NVMe Drives with ASUS M.2 x16 GEN 4 CARD, maybee nice to passthrough with ESXI or XPNG, I realy like the way you do your videos

I've got a 11y old Supermicro server and now with ESXi 8 they don't support my CPU even if i don't mind ESXi they are now forcing me to move.. XCP-NG might be the path for me..

Do you think Synology Active backup would ever support VM backups? That is why I chose ESXI so I can back it up with Synology. Do you have any recent videos on backing up VMs with XCP-NG

any progress on XCP-NG getting a hyperconverged storage option. anything like Ceph on the roadmap? With Datacentre power and space costs going up, it makes a whole lot of sense to attach storage directly to your compute.

I'm so tired of VMware. This looks promising!

6.3 or older? I thought I was outdated when I was using 6.5. Or do they mean 6.3 or later?

Can you import from VMWare workstation VMs though?

I can’t install XCP-NG on my 12th gen. I’d like to use it but it just lands on a black screen when starting the installer.😢

My only crime with Xan orchestra is the 2 TB limit per VM

The problem with xcp-ng is the really bad IaC tooling such as packer, its the worst implementation I have seen. I know they are doing a new version but its taking forever
