🇵🇭Manjuyod Town: Young Filipina Girls Are Waiting Foreigners⎟NEGROS ORIENTAL

Hello Guys! Today we went to check out the Manjuyod. A small town in Negros Oriental. Looking back, it was quite interesting to be honest. I didint post the food videos, but seems like everything there has more quality then a bigger city since I have heard before, when there are less people you have to make sure your quality is good so you want to serve these people many many times. In a big city, you can serve shit cuz everyday you have new costumers.

I hope you guys like this video, and give a comment if you have something to say. I can improve videos from your feedback. Doesn't matter if its bad, just let me know what do you think.

I used a new stative for the camera today, thats why the squick sound was there, soon Ill have new mic and the sound quality will be improved.

Salamat for watching and for your support ❤️ I truly mean this!

I am from Manjuyod. I found your caption disrespectful to us women. Women here are educated, conservative, hardworking and God-fearing. They're not 'women in waiting for foreigners', as majority of our women are in schools, offices, industries and in health care settings. If you saw sad faces, it doesn't automatically mean they have no money. It was scorching hot and one's mood can be easily affected. If they didn't greeted you back, may be because they haven't felt the sincerity of your greetings or they're not comfortable with you filming them and knowing that it will be posted online for the whole world to see, (including your side comments). We're conservative people bro and we value our privacy.
We have nice beaches here. If only you visited the Municipal Tourism office, you wouldn't have missed our famous " Sand Bar" dubbed as the Maldives of the Philippines. We do have foreign friends, visiting and residing, who have experienced our warm welcome, respect and hospitality.

your behavior is so clear for Filipinas, have a girl on your side and be busy all the time to ask attention, they stay friendly but believe me in there mind they have an other thinking about you.

I like that you go off to the provinces and out of the big cities.
Your girl is a great traveling companion., obviously shes very beautiful, but she is also kind, and friendly towards others. This is a far greater attribute than neing pretty. It's nice that shes a local and knows common etiquette. Great channel.

You need to smile when you say hello. When you say hello with your serious angry face they become frightened. In bigger cities they feel safer and smile at your sad face. I bet you if you smike at them and say something nice they will smile back. Its the universal language to smile. Thanks for your video's. You two go together well. 😊😊❤

I absolutely could not live there and judging from this video I wouldn't even want to go there for a visit. By the way, I wonder if the locals don't find your intrusive, personal and many questions with a camera in their face somewhat irritating, unwanted and disrespectful? Would you go around your home city (wherever you come from) filming young women who are total strangers and asking them how old they are?

Honestly, its a nice place and the guy's girlfriend is really sweet, but he's acting kind of arrogant. Where is he from what country?

I dated a woman in 2016 from Pamplona and I spent a couple weeks and Dumaguette. I went to red rock and swam in the hot springs in the mountains. It was a great experience. I thought everyone was friendly but I was worried that I would get mugged. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

"I have bad shoes." 😂 Well, the store clerks are cute, maybe why your girl didn't want to go back to that first one. Thanks for the video

I live in Manjuyod and actually find this video absolutely OFFENSIVE.

1. Pointing out that people here look sad and angry - our hometown is one of the most peaceful places in Negros Oriental. maybe they just don't smile at you because of your approach, they're shy and not confident in speaking English which is normal because it's not our first language.

2. That place where you said it looks dirty and like a squatters area, FYI that was my grandfather's home, he grew up there with his siblings but it was destroyed due to the Typhoon Odette last 2021. Hence, the aftermath was a dirty, ruined area that's used to be a happy home. Don't you dare say things like that when you don't know the whole story.

3. Saying that most of us here didn't even go to Dumaguete, FYI most of us here including me are born in the hospitals of Dumaguete. It's the capital city in our island, it's everyone's go to for groceries, shopping, medical needs etc. Manjuyod is just a municipality, not a city so don't expect things like that here. But if you're used to living in a city where you have all you need, then go back to your country instead of saying relentless feedbacks to places where you're not comfortable or used to. You're girlfriend is also acting as if she didn't get to experience the hardships of living in the Philippines. I also think the title of your vlog only reflects to her. Waiting for foreigners to save them from poverty because there's no other easy and pleasurable way out.

4. Most of us don't have money here - it's true that some of us are not wealthy enough but we are known to be resourceful and resilient — we find ways to survive throughout the day that's why you can't see anyone living on the streets here and begging for money. and even the poorest people here are some of the most happiest people you will know. as if your own country isn't increasing in poverty rate, i bet they can't even think of eating rice poured with soy sauce if they have nothing to eat or sell native tobaccos just to earn money to provide for the family.

5. Looking for a house to rent — you find one but complained it's dirty and noisy. Just go back to Dumaguete and find something nice to sleep and relax. Not say bad things to our surroundings and the people. Just respect.

6. Of course everything is cheap here for you because when you convert USD to Peso, it's quite big. That's why many foreigners come here to the Philippines because it's cheap yet BEAUTIFUL. Don't ask if what they're selling is Original or not because that's considered rude. Knowing the price is not a thousand plus, I think you already know that it's not original.

This vlog made me sad and furious because of your reviews. I think this is the first ever vlog about Manjuyod that I've watched which made me feel that way. Most of the foreigners who came here or married a Filipina here didn't even say things like that. I wish this video will serve as an example for future vloggers to be more mindful with their content and intention.

Your money does NOT make you better. But it DOES let you buy stuff to make you look better and therefore happier. When you look better and can afford to buy whatever you want to buy, people will envy you for what you have and will be jealous of you. They do NOT want to feel sad because they cannot afford what you have, so, they will be angry that they cannot have things you have, like a sexy girlfriend, or maybe extra money, or you are very tall and very muscular, maybe even handsome.
When you have so much, you must act humble and much less overbearing or proud. That will be a very difficult task for you because you are so convinced that you are a wonderful person.
But you pee and poop just animals. You put your pants on one leg at a time, just like poor people.

They sad coz you're just asking questions and not buying anything. Put some money in there hands if you want to see a smile are some teeth. Maybe they're sad coz you're sad. It takes one to know one. You come across very cheap

I am from Manjuyod and visitors are always welcome to visit my place. I am sure our tourism office will be glad to assist you and is willing to tour you around. Just don't disrespect our people, the people of Manjuyod more specifically the women. I find your caption offensive and disrespectful because we are not that kind of woman as what you caption in your vlog.

Why are you making them unroll the tobacco packs when you are not going to purchase even one? Come one, it's onl, only 10 pesos!
Then you whine about not seeing happy faces. Why won't they look so unhappy at seeing people like you wasting their time ?

Wow, your comments were really something—derogatory and disrespectful all wrapped up in one neat package! Judging a book by its cover at its best! You've managed to insult my hometown and the entire community. Next time, try a bit of research and maybe some respect. Feel free to visit again anytime, but just so you know, people around here don't forget faces. 🙂
