Damn, people never learn to not underestimate a train. Especially a locomotive at speed.

I wonder those red flashing lights mean?

They should put speedbumps on Avondale-- both to west and east of intersection. I'm certain what happened was she had a green light, was going fast, and made a hard left, then suddenly realized her mistake, and tried to go back. Speed is often what causes huge mistakes, but slowing down will give people more visual awareness and prevent an accident. Railroad signs may help as well to alert the drivers on Avondale. I used to drive down this street many times and thought this type of accident was possible.

Warning lights, bells, and gates worked? Driver’s fault, period.
