To this day, this is my favorite opening. It’s the most exuberant opening of all, and it’s after the crew has just come back from a series of humiliating defeats. But they’re back and stronger than ever and not deterred in the slightest. It’s so uplifting.

Fun fact: in "Ichi ni Sanshine yon we go!" Ich and ni mean 1 and 2, and san in "SANshine" actually means 3" followed by "yon" meaning 4, followed by "we go!" Go, meaning 5, so this is actually a really clever play on words! ☺️
