Fun fact: those fish being kept in the tiny containers are Beta Fish, also known as Japanese Fighting Fish. They are kept that way because they like to fight each other to the death. But since they are kept so close together, the males will still try to fight, often killing themselves in the process. They can go for about a week without food, so there really isn't much worry there, but the water is never changed. Normally, betas need to be kept in at least 5 gallons of water, with weekly changes, and fed 1-2 times daily. So basically, these fish are not being kept healthily
