The 2 short stud high plates I find makes a pretty good base for upper floors for my moc buildings (reinforced with a stud connection on the bottom. Besides that the more modern roadplate makes it a challenge to get everything aligned in my city. If the time ever does come for a overpass in my city, they should come in handy for that purpose.

The road plates are awesome once you adapt to them, as you can easily expand on them to make a larger road, sidewalk etc.
The one piece that ruined City is the flame!
For some reason almost every LEGO City building is now on fire.

I always had LEGO City sets growing up. My favorite theme. Since I had to pack mine when my little sister was born, I always check the new sets out when I go to the store, but for the past few years I don’t even want to since they changed their target audience to 5 year olds instead of the 10+ it used to be.
