Quick review of an imported new knife from Buck

I have one of these buck knives and love it and it is comfortable and it handles very well is razor sharp.

Thanks for the video. I have been looking at this knife for 6 months now. Even though its 420HC it will be my next knife. I love the full flat grind, the handles, and the polished full tang. The sheath with the ferro rod is an added bonus. It's a beautiful knife. It's very similar to the Schf42d and even though the shrade is 1095HC I still like the Buck better overall. I hope to see see more reviews from you. Thanks again.

420 HC by Buck is good steel. It holds an edge plenty long enough, and is easily field sharpened. I have (too) many knives, some quite expensive, but my Buck 119 and 110 are the sharpest. Buck says to sharpen at 15 degrees each side. How many production knives are this thin (sharp) and still don't roll or chip? None that I know of. Other knives come with grinds of 25 to 30 degrees each side. They are sharp, but won't cut very well until re-profiled. Thanks for showing yours.

FYI: .125" is 1/8". Thus, .140" pretty much qualifies as 1/8", because the difference, .015", is essentially 1/64", which is likely negligible.

there is another piece that goes inside the belt clip for smaller belts so there is no slop i dont know why you dont have one
