Enjoyed seeing how you put a video together and what have been your expenses for a month in Oaxaca, Mexico. That was quite a show at the wrestling match. Those tacos looked real good too!

I'm considering moving to Mexico when I retire (roughly 8 years). Like most, my 401k has been taking a beating, and I started it way late (I was on disability), so it's not going to be a great help. Seeing your expenses is really helpful for me. When I do it, I'll be by myself, but I'll also rent an apartment or, if my savings hold out, buy a small place. I love to cook, so I likely will only need a little for eating out (although I absolutely will sometimes). Do you run into U.S. or Canadian expat communities much?

My wife and I relocated to Morelia, Michoacan three years ago. She's a Mexican citizen, and I'm from Reno, Nevada..it's been absolutely wonderful!
As far as the cost of living goes, we rnt a beautiful, nearly 4000 square ft home, in a very nice neighborhood for 8000 pesos ($400 USD) per month! Everything is affordable, the culture is amazing, and the people are welcoming. We live VERY well on my Social Security alone! The best move I've ever made. We've never seen a need for a car, everything is within walking distance. UBER suffices when needed. I had surgery for a brain aneurysm while in Mexico, and the medical care was outstanding, the doctors were great, and the hospital was modern.
We've never been victimized by ANY crime. It happens in every large in the world, but it hasn't happened to us.
Good video, you can get used to the life!

So basically you would spend 25k a year in expenses for two people in Mexico, that is insane! I seriously doubt that the locals would spend half or a third that

Great laid back video, my favorite part of the video is the digital nomad part, very honest conversations and also liked the blooper, need more bloopers at the end :-) headin over to the newsletter signup now...
P.S: some places cost was in USD and some were $, I assume everything is USD?

$200/ groceries? I know it varies, I assume you buy some meat? We easily do about 4x / month in FLA. And we pay about $150/mon for spring water delivery. No drinking from tap in US.

Fun video. The wrestling was the best. Eric, do you find a difference in taste between Mexico Pepsi and Canadian Pepsi?

Hola! Showing the menus of places you regularly visit can tell a lot about the potential lifestyle a person could enjoy by going there. Buena suerte desde Ensenada!

Apart from the increase in views and followers, it would be very nice if they put subtitles in Spanish since not all of us who watch their videos speak English. Greetings
