Afghan women activists inside and outside the country have published videos of themselves on social media singing revolutionary songs against the strict laws of the Taliban government.

In one song, the singer sings, "You silenced my voice until ‘the second order,’” referring a supposed future Taliban order lifting restrictions.

I feel your pain and it's a pity the Arabs can't save you. Your help can only come from the people you call infidels.

I wanna hold the hand inside you
I wanna take the breath that's true
I look to you and I see nothing
I look to you to see the truth
You live your life, you go in shadows
You'll come apart and you'll go blind
Some kind of night into your darkness
Colors your eyes with what's not there

Strange you never knew
Fade into you
I think it's strange you never knew

A stranger light comes on slowly
A stranger's heart without a home
You put your hands into your head
And then its smiles cover your heart
I think it's strange you never knew

Don't want to show the face LOL, if you want to protest against Islam liberated yourself from the black bag, not following the Islamic attire but protesting against singing restrictions LOL, kind of double standard
