I had the droid factory, and it's one of my favorites. I liked to imagine that it was the inside of the Jawa sandcrawler.

This looks more like a Cloud City or other major facility type of Droid Factory than a sandcrawler.
And it doubles as a parts/accessories and figure storage.

That is so cool. I never heard a peep about this. They needed it. I always wondered why they didn't include snap together body peices with different limbs & heads for C3PO type droids. The "Concentration" game type storage tray was always annoying. LOL😂

I bought the droid parts second hand in the mid 80's.
Maybe, that is a huge maybe, I still have the parts.
