How To Turn On Group Messaging On iPhone

I have an iPhone 13 and there is no group messaging to turn on or off.

I have the iphone with 16.3. There is no “group message” button to turn on. The only thing in this area is “iMessage” and “Send and Recieve”. Any tips?

The newest update won’t have it, I turned on airplane mode, restarted my phone, and then turned airplane mode off, that worked for me

I have the newest software update, iOS 16.5, and I was in a group message with iPhones and androids and it was working fine. I accidentally turned off MMS messaging and turned it back on and now I’m getting everyone’s text messages separately (group messaging is also on). I also tried restarting my phone. How can I fix this?

I used to be able to start typing in a name of a person in my contacts, and if they are also part of an established group text, I could click on that. Say I'm starting a text to John, but I also have a chat with both John and Sarah. As I type "John, " below his name, "John and Sarah" would also appear so I could click on that. But that doesn't happen any more. I'd have to type both names. How come, and how to fix?

This does not help. I've done all of this, but my group messages are still splitting off into individual messages. Grrrr
