To think...Doc Rivers turned the C's down because he wanted NO PART of a rebuild.

Never made it back to the Finals, but the all the Superstars he's had since Boston... haven't translated into a ring.

When the trade was made, I hit the floor. Celtics ended up getting two
stalwarts for the 10-12 years. Unprotected lottery picks? The NETS were hoodwinked and I’m glad they were. Garnett and Pierce were on the back nine of their careers. This is comparable to the Hershel Walker trade. Hopefully it brings the same type of results. GO CELTICS!!
