A good and to it could be 'nothing much, just studying for my test or nothing really, just trying to finish up a task.' That answer could help with the guys next question, "oh that's nice, when's the test or tell me about the test, what does it entail?' Or 'what's the nature of the task?' Convo is natural. It just depends on how both party are good in conversations
