In this lesson, I discussed the benefits of listening to improve both your English fluency and accent for your call center job. I also explained why it's the technique that all non-native English speakers should focus on above reading, writing and studying the grammar rules.

Today was my first-day taking calls, and It was so stressful, sad, humiliating too. I was so nervous and scared. But the customers were so patient. And at the end of the day, I just wanna cry. I never thought it could be so hard, and magically you appear on my recommendations, and I'm watching every single video that I can see until I fall asleep.

I am now convinced that consistency to listen to native english speaker is the key to fluency.

Hi! After failing at so many call center interviews for a couple of years, I decided to search here in Youtube and then suddenly I found you. After learning so much from your channel, I just passed the initial interview at Alorica! ❤️ I just want to let you know that you really helped me boost my confidence to try again and passed the interviews. Thank you so much!

Her way of teaching and coaching as I watch this video makes me feel that I'm learning the practical way of learning English speaking, the way I never learned from formal school.

I worked in a cruise ship for 4 years and this casual english that your are talking about are very common among american. You need to learn and heard it if you want to survive in call center job. There's nothing wrong in speaking slang words. American do speak in a casual slang word too, base on my expereince since im working behind the line in the buffet area. Thank you for helping us to speak better english, I just started listening podcast, audiobooks, and conversation video, it helps me a lot. The only thing that I need to imrpove is my grammar..still working on it. Correcting my grammar are much appreciated.❤❤❤❤

Hi. I think that reading aloud is the perfect complement for listening technique. Listening helps you understand how it should sounds like, and reading aloud helps you about how you should say it correctly. Those techniques combined are helping me a lot.

I strongly agree with the grammar, I never taugh my 9 yr old son how to speak English, I just let him watch youtube (under my supervision) and when this online/module class began, I never had a hard time teaching him with the use of "a & an" consonant and vowels, past tense, things like that, now I know, its because I let him listen to native English speakers,

I've watched this video 9 months ago when times I don't speak English fluently and I am finding it hard to think what word comes next after I saying another, But now I got used to thinking ahead of the words I'm saying. It's like contracting the sentences I want to tell before I talk while in a middle of commutation. Thanks a lot for this video
