Had to come back to say Thank you Celeste for voicing our adorable and iconic gamer girl, we understand that you're a mother, teacher and a bunch of time on you're hands I hope the new actress "Lottie Bourne" will at least match the personality/voice and so far she's doing amazing!

Just got recommended this video again, and boy does this hit differently. It’s so sad seeing how much fun Kevin, Luke, and the actors were having while making this, as well as the passion these four had for Meta Runner. Now at the time I’m writing this, Celeste was just let go in the most unprofessional manner. Robyn and David have cut any future ties with Glitch, and while I’m not sure if Jessica has done the same, I think I’ve heard rumors of being booted out a while ago anyways. It’s hard to put into words the shock and somewhat betrayal I, as well as others, feel about the handling of Meta Runner and the entirety of Glitch Productions.

Lottie, I’m sure you will be great as Tari, but you definitely didn’t deserve to be caught up in this controversy. Same goes for Celeste for how they just gave you that treatment after providing your voice work to them for 6 years, and to the animators who may have been mistreated behind the scenes. When I first wrote this comment, the accusations of former animators made it seem like a living hell in this studio that was supposed to be a beacon for creative storytelling in the world of indie animation, but after Kevin’s apology, at least it seems like that controversy has been resolved, and the “upper management” have at least acknowledged their flaws and how they’ve been trying to improve. I hope there can be some changes in Glitch soon for the better, as well as a more proper closure to Celeste, but my hope in anything ever coming out again for Meta Runner, let alone things being like they were before, lessens as this situation continues to be ongoing.
