BetterLan Installation [Bukkit Plugins In Single Player]

An Installation / setup video for BetterLan. BetterLan allows you to have bukkit plugins in normal single player minecraft.

I deleted my bin a while ago. Minecraft isn't there. Or maybe it's different nowadays.

yeah it does take a bit longer the first time you do it.

I dont think you've done anything wrong it just takes a while to make the mod folders the first time around. Have a look in the plugins folder and see if a folder for world edit has been created, If it has then it should work if it hasn't make sure you have the latest version. Also remember this mod is still in development so it may not be perfect. It might also benefit you more by going to the forum page and asking there as you may get better advice.

yes there could be a conflict there however if your running a server thats public (port forwarded or hamachi) then it will use a public ip address. Betterlan uses a private IP so you shouldn't get any IP conflicts.

make sure you keep the file extension. What I mean is it will have .jar on the end of it, you NEED to leave that on so the file should read "craftbukkit.jar"

The mod is currently in-compatible with 1.3.2 and Magic Launcher. Install the mod manually through a 1.3.1 Jar.

Got everything to work, got the WorldEdit mod, it shows up in the mod screen, all is well. When I try to run a world with Bukkit on, it says "Starting Bukkit, please wait!" infinitely. I waited probably 5 minutes, or more, but with no change. Does it actually take like, 10 minutes to get things going, or am I doing something wrong (probably the latter)?

is it for 1.5.2? if so then you dont extract it you need forge.
