Hi Dave! Yes I remember from Batman & since I didn't start to watch leave it to beaver till I was about 12 yrs old & by then batman was long gone from the tube I never knew she was also Larry's mom on the show, another great story Dave thank you & take care.

I always believed Madge most as Larry Mundello's mother. I mean that she felt real in that role. So she instantly felt awkwardly out of place as Aunt Harriett. And even thought I enjoy Batman more than Leave it to Beaver, she just seems really phony in that series. Of course, every one is a bit over acted in that series.

I never had a problem with aunt Harriett but after having seen the comic version it it makes me wonder why they went a bit older in the character my guess is that since Batman and Robin are supposed to well established in there crime fighting careers that dick would be older so aunt Harriett would have to be older also and it would have been nice to have her in the movie more the a few seconds in the opening scene tending to the garden with no speaking lines and as much as I love the show and movie Adam isn’t the original Batman Lewis Wilson is actually the original Batman in 1943
