What is the shortest border between two countries?
Many of you will immediately think of the border between Morocco and Spain through the Spanish territory of Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera which is only 75 meters long, but this is not a valid answer, as the total land border between Morocco and Spain consists of another two non-contiguous lines around the Spanish territories of Ceuta, 8 kilometers and Melilla, 10.5 kilometers, totaling 18.5 kilometers.
The actual shortest border in the world is located at the intersection of 4 African countries: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. If we take a closer look we’ll notice that although they seem to converge into one single point, there is a tiny strip of land of only 150 meters between Zambia and Botswana, this being the shortest land border between two countries.

Guys, just because Hans Island, Gibraltar and Vatican are small doesn’t mean they are the shortest border. Ther border between Canada and Denmark on Hans Island is 1, 820 meters (4, 200 feet), Vatican City and Italy’s border is 3, 200 meters (10, 480 feet), and the border of Spain and The UK’s Gibraltar is 1, 200 meters (3, 940 feet). The true smallest border between two countries is this border he mentions here, Botswana and Zambia, with only 150 meters (500 feet) which is absolutely tiny!
