In this video, I'm excited to share with you why I've chosen Luna, Logic Pro, and Bitwig as my primary Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) for music production. Each of these DAWs brings its own unique set of features and capabilities to the table, catering to different aspects of my creative process.

Luna:
Luna, developed by Universal Audio, has become an integral part of my setup. Its seamless integration with Universal Audio's hardware, such as Apollo interfaces, provides an unparalleled recording and mixing experience. Luna's powerful analog-style summing, built-in Neve summing, and intuitive workflow make it my go-to for achieving warm, vintage tones and a smooth creative process.

Logic Pro:
Logic Pro has long been recognized for its comprehensive set of tools and versatility. As an Apple product, Logic Pro integrates seamlessly with other Apple devices and software. The vast library of virtual instruments, robust MIDI capabilities, and advanced audio editing make Logic Pro an essential part of my production toolkit. It's a powerhouse for both electronic and traditional music production.

Bitwig:
Bitwig Studio offers a fresh and innovative approach to music production. Its modular design, advanced automation, and intuitive modulation system allow for limitless creative possibilities. The Grid, Bitwig's modular environment, enables me to design intricate soundscapes and experiment with unconventional sound design. Bitwig's compatibility with VST plugins and its cross-platform nature make it a flexible choice for various production environments.

In this video, I'll walk you through the strengths of each DAW, showcasing how I leverage their unique features to enhance my music production workflow. If you can master one daw inside and out then you are a multi talented music producer in my book. Learning other daws then you are on another level. Not knowing the short cuts and layout of a different daw for me would be very daunting. Nearly like started again unless someone educated sitting next to me for a few weeks showing me what to use and do. There is loads in Logic I dont know or will ever use. I still learn new things in Logic every week from Youtube

Nice insight 🎛✨ Logic was also the first daw I mastered then Bitwig, Ableton and Harrison mb all for different flow’s from production, mastering to live performances

Not trying to put shade on Luna, but you can basically achieve the same thing on Bitwig's mixer by using the project and track remotes and modulators. Just create a project template with the remotes mapped. I haven't had any need to switch to a different DAW, and I've tried a lot, Ableton, Reaper, FL Studio, Reason, Studio One but Bitwig resonates with me the most because I can create anything I want using remotes, modulators, the Grid and containers.

I have similar mindset and use Logic, Ableton and Luna. I start in either Logic or Ableton and finish mixing and mastering in Luna. I thought I had to choose just one daw but I agree, I can use all 3 and learn and push my skills to the next level. Thanks for your thoughts!

I have Logic, Mixbus 32c, Studio One, Digital Performer and Reaper. DP was my number 1 for years until I discovered Reaper. Nowadays Reaper is my number one.

Thanks for posting.
