Last year I called the iPhone 13 the best value iPhone, and this year the iPhone 14 adds some really neat features, which may make it the new best overall iPhone to get in terms of price and features. This year I will be unboxing and reviewing all iPhone 14 models, and am also giving away this brand new iPhone 14 in Midnight. Then follow me on IG @dionschuddeboom where I will announce the winner. iPhone 14, 128gb, Midnight, $799 / £849. iPhone 14 6.1”, intersted to compare to iPhone 14 Plus 6.7” 6.1” best of both worlds. Midnight colour, almost black, in sun dark blue undertones shine. Same squared of design as from iPhone 13 - I love this. Aerospace aluminium frame, held up well on my iPhone 13. Ceramic Shield, is crack resistant but does scratch easily. Use a screen protector, my recommendation in description. Apple say 20 hours of video playback, battery on previous iPhone 13 has been fantastic, lasting a whole day and evening with 25%, I expect iPhone 14 to match or be even better. A15 Bionic, same as iPhone 13 but now with 5 core GPU (from 13 Pro to 14 14 Plus). 18% faster. Big camera upgrade. 12mp main: larger sensor and pixels, F1.5. 49% improvement in low light, night mode twice as fast. Action mode, even better stabilisation in video. Crash detection (same from Apple Watch). Emergency SOS via satellite. Allows you to connect to a satellite from anywhere, even without cell service to send a message and ask for help. Is this enough reason to upgrade from iPhone 13? Not for most. But most will come from iPhone 8, X or 11. In which case the iPhone 14 is be a very big upgrade!. iPhone 13 brought a great display, long battery life, and with the semi upgraded processor (more GPU cores), new camera features, crash detection and emergency SOS - based on my initial impressions, it looks like the iPhone 14 will be solid upgrade that delivers in all key smartphone areas!

I‘m not buying the 14. I wanted the Pro, but iOS 16 gives my iPhone 12 a fresh look. The functions are also great.
