Renal Failures a horrible way to go. Especially in 1895. Rest easy Willie.

For some 100 years, they displayed the body of a deceased person like a circus exhibit. Now that they know his real name, you'd think that they would bury him with respect, but no. His real name - James Murphy - is inscribed in small letters on his gravestone. In BIG letters is carved, "STONEMAN WILLIE", so even after being buried, he's being marketed by the town as a tourist exhibit. It's shameful.

Another kicker is this. Someone from the funeral home said, "We are proud to announce that in this hallowed ground will lie the immortal soul of Stoneman Willie..." Seriously? They think his SOUL is in the ground????
