My Nigerian mom used to call my brothers short girlfriend " the Brief and Summarized one" everytime she described her.

No one will probably read this but….. the reason why this is, is actually down to the Nigerian Languages. Many buildings and objects have no one word for them, for example in a Yoruba “Toilet” translates word for word in English to “The house of shit” and the English word School translates to “the house of the books” this is why we often think in poetic and descriptive ways.
