◇ Price wise: If you get everything here, it will be about $415. I'm not including the camera on the motorcycle because it's not really made anymore. The Strada II carbon helmet is $350. Or if you go with the regular Strada II (non carbon), $220. So anywhere from $635 - $765 for this setup.

A few of you are telling me the MOVO mic is out of stock on Amazon, if that's your situation, it's in stock on their website

got an MT07 with a M4 exhaust, the engine sound alone makes riding it a joy.

I've no intention for vlogging, but i do appreciate the time and money spent to have good video and audio in your vlogs.

A million thanks for sharing your links on your setup. I was really struggling with audio quality, cracks and pops. OMG this Mic has definitely solved my issues even at highway speed with my Visor UP! Sound quality is excellent. I highly recommend, thank you.

Had to bookmark this. I have had so many people complain about recording bad audio on a motorbike with GoPro's and I end up taking hours upon hours trying to educate them. Now I'm just going to direct them to this video instead and save myself some time!

I can't wait to start riding on those countryside roads. The camera captures it really well. Definitely going with this setup.

It's crazy how difficult it is nailing down a solid motovlog setup! I plan to make a video about mine too, it's really helpful for people

If you're worried about losing all audio, connect your mic to a RODE Wireless Go II transmitter which you can configure to auto-record without needing the receiver. Each transmitter has 4GB onboard storage which is around 7 hours of WAV audio. It also has dual recording at normal and -12dB to avoid clipping.

The real holy grail of audio recording is a dual-vlog setup that records your friend's voices over the intercom.

Lali, you are an Angel, that microphone that you recommended is FANTASTIC!
It took 3 weeks to be shipped to me but it arrived this week and I have just done a quick test ride with it and the quality is amazing right out of the box. I hope you don't mind but I have mentioned this video of yours in my test video using this setup.
I can't thank you enough for this advice as I now finally feel like I have the audio quality to start MotoVlogging properly.

Hello Lali we just found your channel. We are using GoPro Hero 8's as well. Have not media modded on a helmet yet will do so now thanks to this video. The Purple Panda just got us again with the issues you called out during a week of vloggs from Florida's Forgotten Coast. This was very helpful. Best wishes for you and your platform from ODTRP.

I'm getting ready to do my first motovlogging season. I am rocking a Z1R Solaris helmet, GoPro Hero 8 on chinmount, Tascam DR-05x, and a Purple Panda microphone. I have a Drift Ghost XL setup on a side mount on my helmet for backup and for dashcam. My handsfree audio is the Cardo Freecom 4+ with JBL speakers, which I love cause it raises and lowers volume based on ambient sound. Lastly, I put deadcats on ALL microphones. This effectively deletes wind noise. Always use deadcats. I will say they look absolutely ridiculous. But, they are absolutely necessary! I will say this. The Purple Panda is the absolute BEST microphone I have tried so far and that is my pick for the audio. Purple Panda with Tascam DR-05x.

Gotta say the gloss carbon helmet looks so good. So happy you found your perfect motovlog setup Lali. Have to go look at the helmet as I'm due for a new one soon.

I really enjoyed this video. I enjoyed the tech info (I'm certified geek) but also seeing you ride around where we used to live. Hershey is one of the few towns where you want to live near the factory. The smell of chocolate and roasting almonds was heavenly. The wooden roller coaster (at 7:46) on the left was, at least at the time when it was built in the early/mid 90's, the largest wooden structured roller coaster either in the nation or world. Would be cool for you to do an episode just on the Hershey story as you tool around the town. He was a great man. Thanks for the video! Enjoy all of them!!
