Samsung Galaxy S Android smartphone demo

We get a demonstration of the Samsung Galaxy S, the S Life user interface, Daily Briefing homescreen pane, and the Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy S is the latest Android device from Samsung. It runs Android 2.1 OS with Samsung's TouchWiz 3.0 widgets pre-loaded. It features a 4-inch Super AMOLED display that puts all other display tech to shem, a 1Ghz processor, 5-megapixel camera, 3G data, WiFi, GPS, 16GB onboard memory, and microSD card slot.

Daily Briefing puts all information in a convenient homescreen pane, the eBook store has potential, and the Super AMOLED display makes images pop while allowing for a 9.9mm profile for the Galaxy S.

I agree, this new mean Galaxy S is defiantly a VERY unique phone...super unique...like its one of a kind....doesnt look like a iphone at all

I really hope you can disable that UI so you can use the stock Android interface like on HTC phones... the Samsung UI makes it look like a cheap iPhone ripoff. But I'm really looking forward to this, I'm holding off on buying a Nexus One until they release more information on this.

Hey is it just me or does the phone look aggravatingly similar to the iphone's OS? Damn. I hope thats a program making it look like that cuz I have the Samsung moment and I love sammy but that looks too copy!!!
