Jessica describing how her and christopher are a great partnership in marriage and in writing a movie is so wholesome. Also, whilst answering these questions its so interesting to notice different traits in both jessica and christopher that remind me of their children 😊

I love that you do things with the older kids. They get to be teens without worrying about tiny ones, even though I know they love their siblings.

I really appreciate and love it that we also have an update about Jessica and Chris! 💖

Jess, the way you talk about motherhood and how excited you get when you see your kids doing things they enjoy makes me excited to want to be a mom someday and experience that myself

The fact that you both just smile while admiring the other when they’re talking warms my heart. You’re such a beautiful couple with such a beautiful family. Thank you for sharing your life with us!

I love Christopher’s reasoning for loving hippos. They are my favorite animal and I fell in love with them because back when the Detroit Zoo had one, he wiggled his ears when I talked to him (like he was listening to me)

SPAIN TIP!! Spain's my favorite country to visit & I 100% recommend the city of Granada. Besides seeing the Alhambra (which is one of the most awe-inspiring places I've seen), you have the mixture of arab/moor + spanish cultures throughout the entire city (in traditions, architecture, music, food). It's one of those cities that are amazing to walk through bc of the little secrets you discover in each corner

Valencia is a MUST. The home of Paella. La Riua is the best paella in town. Call ahead and make reservations. No English menus or speaking, which makes it a bit tricky (they really didn’t believe us that we had reservations) but was so worth it. Take the train between Valencia and Barcelona. It’s a really fun journey. Splurge for first class on their trains (you’ll get a full meal, and a better experience)

My family is from Spain! Our family is spread between Madrid, Navaluenga, and Seville. There is really is no bad place to go on the coast.
My #1 recommendation is to take some days to do nothing. Don’t plan a tour. Don’t site see. Go sit at a cafe or park bench and just watch the world go by. Head back to your place, take a siesta. Just embrace a relaxed day.

Spain recommendation: 55 minutes from Barcelona (by direct train connection) is the town Figueres, here is the Teatre - Museu Dalí, its the biggest surrealist complex in the world founded by Dalí. That museum in itself is worth the day trip, and super easy up and down from Barcelona. I think you will all like it cause Dalí's art is all so quirky and different. Super fun to stroll around. Wishing you all a great trip!✨️

more travel content! 🙌
I genuinely love and find comfort in watching all your videos, but the travel series are just something special, especially the way you guys approach it. (I re-watched your Europe series recently when I was having a hard time and wanted something cosy to watch but everything seemed to make me more anxious; I can always count on your videos to be my best escape! 🥹)
LOVE that it's going to just be the four of you this time; how special it'll be for you to have that focused time with Bailey and Jacob while they're still fully in the 'nest' before highschool graduations, yet at an age where they're basically mini adults so you share interests and have so much fun hanging out together 😄 Can't wait to see what you get up to in Spain! It's also somewhere I've not yet been, so I will be taking notes! 😄

Also, Jessica's energy in this video is so fun! It feels like a further glimpse into her true personality with this style of video that isn't like your usual vlog. I love it! We're actually so similar it seems from her answers; for me I've learned those traits we have in common (one song on repeat, deep diving into topics that interest me, getting super into the fandom side of books and shows I'm loving and just all the enthusiasm over things I love and sharing that joy with people close to me), are traits of my (recently discovered) neurodivergence! Of course any person with any type of brain can be this way, I was just curious at the thought because literally every thing Jess said I was like, "THAT'S ME!" 😅 Also there is talk of including dyslexia in the umbrella of "Neurodivergence" along side ADHD, ASD, OCD, and ND is typically genetic... Anyway, it was just great to see a more concentrated dose of Jessica like this than we've seen in a single video before, so all that to say: I love your energy, Jess! 😄🫶

I teared up when Chris started talking about the first time taking Bailey to Disneyland and finally realising, that going to an amusement park wasn't about going on these rides anymore. But just being about making memories watching his first born getting excited about wearing a mini mouse dress and lighting up about that. 🥹

Jess, you have the same hobbies as I do! And I’ve always felt like maybe they weren’t real hobbies. But I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older that my hobby is loving things and hyper fixating on them. The things that I love are all wildly different, so it doesn’t feel like it’s a hobby, but researching and learning everything about a topic is totally a hobby! I’ve also had people tell me that TV and movies (and for me, YouTube vlogs) were not a hobby, but I actively watch, not passively. My brain is absorbing and learning, and becoming an expert on all things content and media! So I’m totally with you on these hobbies! ❤❤❤

Buy tickets ahead of time for the Sagarada Famailia. It does sell out! Try to go in the late afternoon. When the sun is going down, the sun hitting the windows in there is amazing! Take the cable car to the top of Montjuic. There is a slide in the Sephora store from outside to inside downstairs, at the Sephora at the top of Las Ramblas. My teen loved it! It’s a beautiful city with amazing food! Be aware of your surroundings though.

I’m an American living and teaching in Spain! 10/10 recommend visiting Andalusia (Sevilla or Malaga) bc while they are popular, they’re not as packed as Barcelona or Madrid. Also, if you’re in Barcelona, 100/10 recommended Montserrat, a monastery in the side of a mountain with beautiful hikes! Spain holds such a special place in my heart and I can’t wait for you to enjoy it.

The Spain trip will be such a fun adventure for the 4 of you! It'll be super cool to be able to explore more "natively"/"authentically" (the less touristy route) with the two older kids, it'll definitely be a memory you guy will never forget! Maybe as the other kids grow up it'll become a tradition to visit as they become teenagers in pairs together 😊

I’m so happy for you getting to take Bailey and Jacob on their own trip. It’ll be so memorable for them.
