I really hate how leni get away with everything she did to Gina. She killed two of the most important people in Gina's life. Dylan just wanted to have a normal life after the fire and when he thought it was going well he had to die.

I was confused when he said "I'll find out which one you are eventually" because in his diary he made it clear that they both smelled different

At the end, It was Leni with charlie and It was Leni at the book read. Gina just left, just like Dylan, her love, told her. She was fed up with Leni's games and it had to be enough for Leni to settle for playing at being both.

She didn’t get on a plane as Gina, Leni used a passport with the name KIRA🤦🏻‍♀️ and I believe it was Leni with Charlie at home, in the end and Gina at the book read. I also don’t think Charlie loved Leni more, he just said the sex was better.

Leni used the fake passport (with the name Kira, which you would have known had you paid attention to the airport scene) to escape. At the end, we don't really know if it was Gina or Leni at the book interview and at the apartment and vice versa, and "Gina" even says she doesn't know anymore which one is her.

Gina took diving lessons from Dylan, so it should have been 100% clear even before the airport scene that Gina was very much alive at the end...

And even in that waterfall, had she died, a body would have washed up eventually.

First of all the sheriff finds the bracelet with a missing charm in the remains of their childhood house, the lion charm was found in the remains of the church decades prior. Leni uses the fake passports stolen from Dylan and Gina not their actual passport... Boy you sure watched with attention uh 😂

I definitely think it's Leni at the end with Charlie. At the reading, it could be Gina, wanting to give him closure (but it wouldn't make much sense), i just don't understand why she would look for him. The sad thing is that this means Leni wasn't arrested.

It seemed to me that at the reading, the twin had lighter hair, which would makes sense for both Leni and Gina - Gina wanting to differentiate herself from her twin or Leni changing her looks to avoid arrest.

What I don't think would fit with Gina though, is saying she's not sure who she is anymore. The only one thinking about themselves as one with the other twin is Leni, who wanted both lives.

I think at the end it’s Leni. She is too obsessed with finding Gina still since she knows Gina survived the falls. I think Gina is way gone from everyone’s lives. Gina going back to charlie is nonsense since she knows leni is still out there looking for her.

I didn’t read the waterfall scene as Gina falling over the waterfall to sacrifice herself so her twin could get away with her crimes. The entire story led up to Gina falling as a last ditch effort to escape her murderous sister.

Does anyone know what really happened to Jack when he got the bruise on his head? He was definitely lying about the situation and the horse thieves seemed legit when they said the only saw him at the party and not at night in the parking lot. Who did Jack meet in the parking lot that night?

Reading these comments confuse me.. i genuinely enjoyed this show lol. Lots of plot twists, kept me interested. Also i watched it all sober and that says alot 😆😆😆😆😆

Light and dark have often been akin to good and evil. Gina rides the dark horse and leni rides the light horse into the woods in the last episode if im not mistaken. I really feel like more needs to be fleshed out or this limited series was just really poorly written.

Also Prince (a light horse) returned with blood on him. While the dark horse (cant remember the name) who fell over a cliff was injured but ultimately shot to death to (seemingly) put it out of its misery by Gina because "it wasn't supposed to be like Maria.

Maybe this dark horse who was injured by accident and ultimately killed could also be related to the twins' mother maria. We don't know how she was sick but the quintessential head covering and coughing says things aren't good. Her illness could be an accident and victor killing her was clearly a mercy kill as they planned it. But then again Gina didn't plan to kill that dark horse.

I'm done rambling. Chime in as you wish. Lol

I absolutely loved this series! But there are a few things that still has me wondering. Anyone have ideas, answers or theories for the following?:

1. Remember when Jack and Charlie both drove to the same street? That was the 4th episode. And I think it was Charlie that blinked his headlights to Jack to kind of acknowledge each other? Who were they waiting for? Because I think the next day Dylan ended up dead.

2. Remember at the birthday party when Leni told Gina that their father had 6 months to live? Leni walked backed into the house and we heard Gina telling her father “Leni just told me”. But wouldn’t the father then realize that they were switching because he actually told Claudia and “Gina” (when Leni was playing Gina) about his illness at dinner. If he knew he told “Gina”, wouldn’t it seem odd to him that Gina is coming to him as if this was the first time she was told?

3. Did you notice that the timeline of Gina’s story was a little off? When she went behind the waterfall to set up the clothes for Leni to choose, she walked back to Dylan’s place and saw Leni going in the car with him. But at the time, Leni played Gina for quite some time when she arrived- for about 2 or 3 days - and then only switched back to herself after finding the clothes. How is that Gina just came back from the waterfall and Leni already switched back to herself?

4. I feel sketchy about Charlie. If he knew all along that his wife was switching with his sister, he acted so nonchalantly by the fact that his actual wife was missing in Mount Echo – even after “Gina” told him that it looks like she was acting weird.
I also think that he loves Leni more because it’s as if he wanted the Lake Tahoe switch to not happen. He even told “Gina” to focus on herself and not get caught up in “Leni’s” life when he knew full well that he was with the sister and not his wife.
