Early Works of the Lombrum Infrastructure Project reached completion in September 21 and employed a workforce of 121 PNG Nationals. This included a medical facility, community chapel, security fence, and upgrade to the Papua New Guinea Defence Force communication centre.

Main Works has already reached 214 PNG Nationals with 40 percent local Manusians. The last six months has seen logistics being critical to establish life support and earthworks for environmental controls.
During 2022, Main Works will continue to build electrical generation services for Lombrum Naval Base and Manus Island more broadly, water and sewerage services for the base, facilities for community work, training and accommodation; and operational facilities to support the Guardian-class Patrol Boats and small boat operations.

18/11/2121 GOOD NEWS DoD. We in the first world should do "as much as we can" to help third world nations; particularly our neighbours, friends and allies. Sooner or later the penny (mostly, already has with PNG)will drop and we will be lifetime friends; otherwise the CCP will take over.
