The iPad Air 5 (M1, 2022) can be a good deal!

The new iPad Air is here and I've been on it for a little bit. Let's talk about how it's been since day one and respond to some of the comments that you left on my unboxing pieces. While the M1 processor does bring a lot of power to the iPad Air, does it make it easier or harder to choose instead of the iPad Pro M1?

I upgraded from the iPad Air 4 64GB to iPad Air 5 256GB for the 5G and 8GB of RAM. M1 . For consumption . Use Bluetooth headphones. I liked the iPad Air 4 needed upgrade..

A15 with 128 base storage would have been a better upgrade. 64 GB was good in 2017.

Dude! Great video overall man. A lot of fair points you pointed out, but you know what I'm planning on doing? Picking up a refurb 2018 iPad Pro and a magic keyboard. It's about a little less or same price as the Air with Magic Keyboard! Yeah performance is gonna be a big factor, but those 1st gen 11-inch iPad Pro with ProMotion are still killer.

IPad Air 2022 plus SSD external storage, pencil and Logitech bluetooth keyboard with rounded keys. Looks like a good deal compared to IPad Pro plus all them Apple accessories (magic or maybe folio keyboard plus pencil).

cool first look, im currently in the "other camp" and each generation that comes out i try to gather up information on what advantages the apple products have over the other guys, so i would be pretty keen to echo old mates suggestion of comparing apple vs android, its justa shame apple dont let us do things like emulators

The whole Air lineup is an upsell product. Get a 2018 iPad Pro for less money. It will have much better speakers, battery life and screen.
You’ll only be missing the M1 but the A12x is crazy fast still.
If you want to be productive you’ll need a macbook or an iPad Pro anyway
