Aaron, I think you should incorporate this practise step into your kick flip skate supports because this is what helped me land it: practise doing half kickflips (so board lands upside down) but make sure you land with both feet. This will train your front foot to flick and then come back to the board. Once you land these consistently, flick a little harder and jump higher and you should land it!

Hey Aaron I was wondering if u can give me a tip on style, sometimes I feel like a idiot when I push I'm pretty good at skating but can't shake the feeling of me looking dumb. And also I wanted to know if u could help me with making my board stand out?

[ATTENTION] hey aaron hopefully you can answer this question but, how do you break habits? Like I'm trying to do the kickflip I've landed them successfully but now my feet are to close to each other so I slip back and it's hard for me to change my feet in the air hopefully you can help,

Thanks

You should try learning some late flips 👌

I don't know if this is the case for everybody, but it seems like people (people I know anyways) who skate regular find backside easier and people who skate goofy find frontside easier.

I know this will get a lot of hate and dislikes from a lot of people but I personally think that Aaron isn't a good skater. Don't get me wrong, i think it's great that he does skate support videos but I've never seen him do a video on a hard trick. He's always had someone else do it, like Chris Chann for the lazer flips. I just feel like he should do more videos on harder tricks, like inward heelflips, big flips, etc. He's posted so many pop-shove, kickflip, ollie and 180 skate supports, it's ridicolous. If he's doing it to help that individual then he could just send the video to them through an e-mail or message on facebook. There's no need to make 20 Pop-shove support videos, 1 or 2 is plenty enough. There's only so many things you can do wrong on a trick.

Personally, I think it's better to learn tricks by yourself, that's how you form your own style in skateboarding. You'll figure out all the tricks that you like doing and that are fun to do. Sending in a video will give you some suggestions on what to do but, honestly, if you just watch the clip of you doing a kick flip for example, you can see what you did wrong and maybe even how to fix it but that;s what trick tips are for, they explain the easiest/best way to do a trick.

And please don't write any comments like "Let's see you skate better than him" or "you suck kid". I never said I'm the best at skating, i don't even want to be. I do skateboarding because it's fun learning new tricks, hanging out with friends and being free. I think Aaron is a great technical skater, i wish i could do manuals like him! But I've never seen him do a hardflip down a 4 stair. The majority of his content is skate supports on basics and some other content.

TL;DR I think Aaron should have some more variation in his videos, i don't need to see 20 pop shove skate supports and if you do, then you probably shouldn't be skating if a pop shove is so hard to learn. I think you should learn to skate by trying it yourself with minimal help from others. 20 videos on 1 easy trick? Unnecessary.

Guys, I have high-tops that I use when I skate, should I by skate shoes? Because there's like a bit of leather on them and there's no really soft surface on them.

so i think i have a problem with kickflips, ive practiced standing with my board popped and just dragging up and flicking out, i practice stepping off with my back foot and i can catch with my front foot, but as soon as i go to land both feet, i kick down and i really dont know why. any help?

I had the same problem as him so I gave up on kickflips then I tried to learn varials and I think there easier than kickflips but when I landed that i realised it's not really the "flicking" motion but it's more of "jumping"
