Interview with Josef 'Sepp' Mächler - Project Manager of the BMW HP4 RACE | Ultimate Motorcycling

During the US press introduction for the ultra-exclusive 2018 BMW HP4 RACE, Online Editor Ron Lieback had the opportunity to sit down with the project manager for all four-cylinder and six-cylinder machines, Josef 'Sepp' Mächler.

This event took place at one of the premier race facilities in the United States, the Circuit of The Americas. The massive circuit proved to be a perfect landscape to give the 2018 BMW HP4 RACE a full evaluation.

After becoming acclimated with the BMW HP4 RACE, Ron was able to pick the brain of the man behind the entire project. 'Sepp' shares some insights as to how the project started and what it took to achieve their goals when came to constructing the extremely light-weight carbon fiber components and other high-performance aspects of the BMW HP4 RACE.

With only 750 2018 BMW HP4 RACE's lined up for production, this extremely limited machine comes at a premium $78,000 price tag.
