I once got followed. I handled it by going over every single inch of the store and putting random stuff in my cart, making sure to get Ice-cream and perishables. I filled that cart up to the brim, bread and cakes under 12 packs of soda and gallon jugs of milk, then I pushed the cart up to the front, left it by the check out and left. I figured if they got time to follow me, they got time to put them groceries back...I left satisfied 🧘🏾‍♀️

In the meantime Karen, Brad & ken robbing them blind! I worked in the men’s furnishing department of a high end store and the young white clerk was robbing the store blind on a weekly basis. Someone dropped a dime on him and security was shook AF by how much they saw him steal. Yet the plain clothes stay following the black people around.

I hated working in retail. Had a boss that almost always told me to “keep an eye on” “certain” people. I’d say “yeah, sure, on it” then I’d ask them if I could help them. If they said they were good, I went back to whatever the fuq I was doing. She’s get pissed and I would tell her I’m not going to follow people around because you have some deep seated issues.

I put her a$$ to work. I told her my items weren’t scanning properly & had her scan me out at the self-service. VIP service for sho!!!

I was followed in a health food store where the employee just happened to be straightening the shelves 2 feet away from every place I decided to shop so I went to the front counter and asked for the manager and loudly explained what was happening. He apologized profusely but I told him if that’s the kind of business he runs, I don’t need to shop there. I also told him I make 6 figures and don’t need to steal a thing from his store and never went back! I hate racial profiling!

I actually demand they follow me and help me with my every whim! I was in Miami, shopping I asked the lady if she could redress the mannequin with the dress I chose, cause I didn’t feel like trying it on, as my outfit was already intricate and hard to put back on! Thanks! The mannequin is my size.

Returning from a family vacation , we stopped in Frederick Md, my Mom told us to buy what we wanted, she and Dad had 1, 000 in Traveler Checks left... we got followed, they knew it, the 5 of us got to the counter, tallied up $600 of stufff, Mom said "Since you followed us, we dont want it " and we all left !!

I had this happen to me too. 🤦 I was at the mall, Bebe store. I was browsing because the guy I was with said he would buy me a outfit. He was in another store, so I was alone. This female worker kept following me, and everytime I acknowledged her presence she would just glare at me. I said out loud " well, they ain't got shit I want!" I left and yelled a couple of profanities to her. Lol. For real, it's a terrible feeling when getting treated like that.
