On a misty March morning, Shuttleworth came alive to the sound of the Sopwith Pup going through a ground run.

Our Sopwith Pup started its life as the two-seat Sopwith Dove variant, before Richard Shuttleworth converted it back into a single-seat Pup. It's powered by a Le Rhone 80hp nine cylinder engine, and can be seen regularly flying at Shuttleworth air shows between May and October.

The Shuttleworth Collection in Bedfordshire, England is home to a vast array of vintage aircraft, vehicles, as well as agricultural machinery. The Collection hosts a series of flying days from May to October each year, and is open to the public on non-flying days as well.

Absolutely fantastic. Is the mist in the background castor oil vapour?🤔🤣😉
jk . I know it isn't castor oil but I bet the exhaust smells great!
